How to Find Your Global Lock Key Code

Three ways to locate your Global Lock key code — start with the key, then the lock sticker, and finally the inside of the lock if needed.

1. On your Key

  1. Look just below the fob

The key code is usually stamped or engraved near the base of the key blade below the fob.

  2. Improve readability

Tilt the key in light or use your phone flashlight to reveal faint characters.

  3. Record it exactly

Copy letters, numbers, and any dashes exactly as shown (e.g., G310).

Tip: Save the code in your phone’s secure notes or keep it in another safe place in case the key is lost.

2. On your Lock

  1. Check the back for a sticker

Many locks include a sticker on the rear housing that lists the key code.

  2. Remove to access if needed

You may need to remove the lock to view the back.

  3. Clean gently

Wipe dust with a soft cloth. Avoid solvents that may remove the print.

Heads-up: If the sticker is damaged, try photographing it at an angle to reveal faint characters.

3. Inside your Lock

  1. Gather basic tools

Screwdriver set, small pry tool, cloth, and container for screws.

  2. Open the housing carefully

Remove cover screws without forcing anything.

  3. Locate the internal code

Look for a printed or engraved code on the inside housing.

  4. Document then reassemble

Record the code before reassembling the lock.

Caution: Only open locks you own or are authorized to service.

4. No Code Inside your Lock?

If no code is available any on your lock you will need to call the manufacturer of your RV and provide them with your VIN. They will be able to provide your keycode.
