Built to outperform traditional RV keys, Global Link G500 keys have a stamped steel construction that provides more torque and durability than soft brass keys. The G500 cylinders offer a harder finish coating than the G300 series. The coating protects against corrosion, delivers smoother operation, and offers a longer-lasting performance. G500 cylinders also feature these innovations:
- Staked wafers for better retention than the "press-fit" wafers of the G300 series.
- Three-point scalp retention for improved durability versus two-points on the G300 series.
- A redesigned cylinder keyway protects against improper key usage and damage.
REINVENTED FOR SECURITY
Global Link brings 50 brand-new key codes to the OEM and RV aftermarket with the G500 series. BUILT FOR EASE
The G500 series keys have a new automotive style handle grip, providing for a more modern, premium feel in hand when compared to the G300 series RV keys. Global Link G500 cylinders feature a redesigned slide shutter that allows for smoother key insertion than the G300 series trap door shutter. This new slide shutter also prevents damage if the wrong key is used. Both mastered and non-mastered G500 series cylinders:
- Have a dimpled scalp to promote proper key alignment, reducing wear and tear on the cylinder over time.
- Are Compatible with all Global Link lock and Key-ALike systems.
